Miguel Rebelo (1993, Portugal) is an architect collaborating globally with other architects and artists. Based in his birthplace, Portugal, he has also lived and worked in Brazil, Denmark, and Japan. He has contributed to renowned studios like Agencia and Bjarke Ingels Group as a Design Assistant, and for over six years, he has been with Kengo Kuma & Associates, working as a Project Leader, Design Lead, and Architect in Porto and Tokyo.

Miguel holds an MA in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of Porto (Portugal) and studied as an exchange student at the Federal University of Architecture and Urbanism of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). His practice focuses on three core missions: Value Architecture (prioritizing cost-effective alternatives), Sustainable Design (minimizing CO2 emissions and using local materials), and Material Research (challenging standard solutions and exploring new techniques). His work thrives on the tension between opposing ideas, resulting in sharp, clear designs with unexpected simplicity and delicacy.
